Hello! I am so excited to be joining Little Imaginations Preschool as your new director. I have taught 4k at a local MDO the last two years. Before that, I was busy raising my three kids. I have 14-year twin girls, Addy Grace and Aubrey, and a little guy, Trenton, who’s 12. I have been married to my amazing hubby, Ricky, for 16 years. Addy Grace and Aubrey are entering their freshmen year at Briarwood (don’t blink, it goes too quick), where Addy Grace is a JV cheerleader (Go Lions!), and Aubrey enjoys art, baton, and music. Trenton is entering 6th grade at the lower campus and loves all things soccer. I have two puppies named Tank and Remy. I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish & Psychology from Samford University. After living in Boston for a year, I realized my passion lies in education and went back to school to earn my master’s in education from Vanderbilt University. I am certified in Alabama to teach K-8th grade.
Amanda Thomas
Assistant Director
Hello families and friends! I am Amanda Thomas, your new assistant director here at Little Imaginations Preschool. I am the mother of FIVE little Thomas’: Sawyer, Jack, Gracie, Hudson and Ellie. We currently have 2 pet fish named Spaghetti and Toothless (I let the kids pick the names). In our free time, my husband Chris and I spend time at the dirt bike track watching our two super stars, Sawyer and Jack race. My professional experience is great, but my hands-on experience with children is greater. I have a background in psychology and my associates in science and am continuing with focus to finish my bachelor’s degree in the fall. I am so excited to be here and hope to be a positive addition to an already great team!
