It has always been a core belief at Little Imaginations that play is essential to learning! Encouraging a child's creativity through games, physical activity, and social interaction can build their understanding of the world around them. Today I want to post a link to an article about play, and all the benefits it offers as part of the daily classroom structure. As parents, we are accustomed to watching our children play and seeing it as simply entertainment. For children, play is the laboratory they use to experiment in math, science, language, and psychology. They learn problem-solving techniques and that repeated failures can lead to great success. It is a beautiful thing to watch, and we are fortunate to witness the growth of each child as they engage in all kinds of creative play throughout the year!
